The integrated Snapdragon X20 LTE modem supports download speeds of up to 1.2Gbps and upload speeds of up to 150Mbps, so you can stay productive in nearly any location. The second generation of machines, however, uses the Snapdragon 850, a variant of the Snapdragon 845 that's designed for the bigger batteries and higher power dissipation of laptops and tablets.

The Galaxy Book 2 goes on sale November 2nd for $US1,000 ($1,404) and will be available online from Samsung and Microsoft.

Fox Business Pulls Out of Saudi Conference, Citing Khashoggi Controversy
The pro-government Sabah newspaper published photos of a man it claimed to be someone who travels with the Saudi crown prince. US Treasury Secretary Seven Mnuchin announced that he would not be attending an investment conference in Saudi Arabia .

This may make the Galaxy Book 2 a bit less unique in its look and feel, but it may well have been a worthy decision given feedback on previous models provided by many, including yours truly. Thanks to this SoC and built-in gigabit LTE radio, it allows the Galaxy Book 2 to always stay connected to the internet. It's a tad heavier than the original at 1.85g (compared to 1.58g), and measures in at 11.32 x 7.89 x 0.30in. "LTE connectivity is really at the center of this device", said Alanna Cotton, Samsung's senior vice president of product marketing.

Samsung promises up to 20 hours of battery life with the Galaxy Book 2, with the addition of Adaptive Charging to provide the device with fast charging. Samsung is also bundling the keyboard cover and the S Pen along with the device for consumers. That's something you'll most likely do if you want to use this for proper multitasking and productivity, anyway.

David Mundell tells Prime Minister he could not accept longer Brexit transition
The so-called "moment of truth" in the Brexit process - the October Brussels summit - has been and gone. It is a good idea. "I'm clear that it is possible to do that and that is what we are working for".

On the outside, the tablet sports two USB-C 3.1 ports, a microSD card reader and a headphone jack. That's a lot of money to cough up, but at least you'll get the keyboard and S Pen included for that price. For now, the Galaxy Book 2 offers a few compelling features that differentiate it from its rivals, but we'll have to spend more time with it to know if it'll truly stand out.

Samsung today announced the Galaxy Book2 (sic; the company has not put a space between the word and the number), a 2-in-1 tablet running Windows 10, powered by a Snapdragon 850 processor.
