Niantic has announced a new feature for their game called Pokemon Go Adventure Sync. This should prove to be a handy addition, particularly for hatching Eggs; previously, Pokemon Go only tracked your walking distance while the game was launched, so if you were trying to hatch a Pokemon, you'd need to leave it running as you walked. There is now no news when this feature will arrive in the title. It's completely opt-in, however, so you can ignore it should you choose. The feature will also include a weekly summary that will break down your incubator and candy progress, so you can keep track of exactly how far you traveled. You no longer have to guess how much walking you've done because your Trainer Profile will show you how many kilometers you've walked. Earn rewards each week for each milestone you cross, and receive push notifications when your Buddy Pokémon has found a Candy or when an Egg is about to hatch!
Tiny T-Cross sees VW enter subcompact crossover battle
What is the Volkswagen T-Cross? As things stand, the 2019 T-Cross is the smallest SUV in VW's range, slotting below the T-Roc. At the rear, the T-Cross has C-shaped tail lights with a dark tint and light bar that stretches across the tail gate.
Previously only a Pokemon Go Plus would allow you to run the game in the background.
Ticketed-event: Apple Stores to livestream the iPad Pro and Mac keynote
The latter would be a big upgrade over the existing Mac mini, which has languished without an update since 2014. However, unlike the iPhone XS and other Face ID-enabled iPhones, the iPad display will not have a notch.
Adventure Sync will offer players the ability to apply movements from just about everything they do during the day toward in-game rewards like weekly milestones. That device allows players to interact with Pokemon Go without having their phone open, so that they still get credit for walking even when not actively playing the game. This will be done through the Apple Health and Android Fit services on iOS and Android respectively. The update will record step count in the background, even if you're doing something else on your handset or have it safely stowed in your bag or pocket.
