Ms. Warren's heritage became an often-hit talking point for President Trump, who dubbed her "Pocahontas". More than half of all Native women have experienced sexual violence, and the majority of violent crimes against Native Americans are perpetrated by non-Natives.

The test was analyzed by Stanford University Professor Carlos Bustamante, who teaches a course on Biomedical Data Science.

In a tweet this morning, US Senator Elizabeth Warren challenged President Trump to honor his pledge to give $1M to a charity of her choice.

Warren also indicated she hadn't forgotten about Trump's promise in July.

A UK Government spokesman said: " Brexit secretary Dominic Raab will be in Brussels this afternoon to meet with Michel Barnier". The unscheduled talks in Brussels came amid speculation officials working on the negotiations had reached a deal.

Warren acknowledged that she had identified herself as a minority in a legal directory for almost a decade, and she was listed as a Native American in federal forms filed by the law schools at Harvard University and University of Pennsylvania where she worked, The Boston Globe reported in 2012.

On Monday - in a move that makes her presidential ambitions unmistakable - Warren released a test that appears to do just that.

The report also showed that Warren most likely had an ancestor who was 100 percent Native American about six to 10 generations ago. A large archive of university documents demonstrate that the hiring committees at Harvard Law School and the University of Pennsylvania viewed Warren as a white woman.

That means she could be as much as 1/32nd Native American, or as little as 1/512th.

"And Trump can say whatever he wants about me", she adds.

"Let's say I'm debating Pocahontas", he said at a rally. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) took a DNA test to prove she had Native American ancestry, Trump denied he ever made the commitment.

Warren, who was raised in Oklahoma but represents MA, was planning an elaborate rollout Monday of the results in order to dispel questions from Republican critics that have dogged her for years, the Globe said.

The Native American ancestor traces back "in the range of 6-10 generations ago", according to Mr. Bustamante's analysis. Regardless, the remarkable trajectory of her career - which took her from being a young mother attending a commuter college to Harvard Law to the Senate - was a product of her own talents, grit, and luck, not her ethnic self-identification. That would seem to fit the story that Warren's parents told their children about their maternal great-great-great-grandmother.

You know they'll put it in play so you try to get a single instead of a double, or try to get a weak double instead of a homer. Price, 16-7 in this year's regular season, has two postseason wins in relief in his career.

An attendee at a town hall asked Warren if she planned to run for president.
