Denver Broncos backup quarterback Chad Kelly was arrested early Tuesday morning and is facing a charge of first-degree criminal trespassing, according to police in Englewood, Colorado.
The man was chased out of the home by its occupant, and after a short search, the man described by the victim was found in a black SUV near the Gothic Theatre.
Chad Kelly, once on the brink of becoming the Broncos' quarterback of the future, now faces an uncertain future with the team and the NFL.
This is not the first time Kelly has been in trouble.

As per villagers, monkeys in the area have made their lives hell and the entire local population is greatly inconvenienced. The 72-year-old died in hospital after sustaining head and chest injuries, the Times of India reports.
Police found Kelly inside of a black vehicle near the Gothic Theatre and, after confirming the trespassing using security footage of the incident, sent Kelly to Arapahoe County Jail. "Our organization has been in contact with Chad, and we are in the process of gathering more information", the release said.
He has since posted a $2,500 bond and was scheduled to have a court appearance on Wednesday morning.
"We are disappointed that Chad Kelly was arrested early this morning", the Broncos said in a statement to FOX31. This is a very serious situation for Kelly and now the Broncos are looking to 2019 and beyond without him in the picture, at least not before getting some help and serving a suspension.
Kelly committed to Ole Miss in December 2014 and was named a starting quarterback his first year there.
