Guyger was arrested on a manslaughter charge after she shot and killed Botham Jean earlier this month.

Amber Guyger's employment with the police department was terminated Monday following a hearing. DPD tweeted a news release that said she was sacked after an internal investigation found she had engaged in "adverse conduct" when charged with manslaughter. Despite how implausible her excuse was, Guyger remained free for three days until she turned herself in to be arrested, booked for manslaughter charges and released on bond during a brief, three-hour process.
