It's unusual that a boxed, production model Google Pixel 3 XL has been leaked so far in advance of the expected launch date, which is thought to be 4 October, but it's not beyond the realms of possibility.
Last month, we got to see a leaked version of the Pixel 3 XL in all white. I certainly wouldn't choose the Pixel 3 XL over the iPhone X or the many Android handsets that are far more attractive.
British Open: Georgia Hall claims first major victory
Phatlum's playing partner Georgia Hall of England is one shot off the lead and South Korea's Ryu So-yeon is one shot behind Hall. She became the first English player of either sex to win a major at Royal Lytham since Tony Jacklin won the 1969 British Open.

Google's newly-announced Android 9 Pie has a provision for developers to create apps that are compatible with a notched display. The Pixel 3 XL, meanwhile, may boast a light green power button instead. Both the front and rear camera will support Portrait mode, which Google introduced in the 2017 variants with Pixel 2 phones.
The back shows the usual single camera setup and fingerprint reader. But does the notch feel a bit tall to anyone else? However, we now see how Android will be handling it in native Android 9.0 software. The chunky notch also makes the status bar very thick.
Guardian: Russian Spy Found Working at US Embassy in Moscow
The Regional Security Office reportedly alerted the secret service of its findings in January 2017. Declining to comment, the State Department simply said the following.
One of the pictures gives us a spec readout, which includes a 2960×1440 display, 4GB of RAM, and a Qualcomm SoC that looks like a match for the Snapdragon 845. Coincidentally or not, Google released Android 9 Pie just a few days ago and managed to made headlines at a time when everyone was talking about Samsung's Galaxy Note 9.
In the box, we see a pair of ear buds that share a similar design to Google's Pixel Buds, but they are wired (with USB-C) and lack the "G" logo on the outside.
Russia: Saudi Arabia has right to reject Canada's interference
Diplomatic channels and trade negotiations were suspended last week, and some flights from Saudi Arabia to Canada halted. All Saudi Arabian students now studying in Canada will be transferred to other countries.
