Moscow appoints action star Steven Seagal special envoy on Russia-US humanitarian ties

In the ever stranger world of politics, Russia's Foreign Ministry has announced that action movie actor Steven Seagal has been appointed special representative to improve Russian and US humanitarian ties.

The Foreign Ministry announced the move Saturday on its Facebook page. Action movie star Steven Seagal is appointed a special envoy for humanitarian ties with the U.S. by Russian Federation.

The 66-year-old actor was born in Lansing, the capital city of U.S. state of MI.
