"It would deliver a principled and practical Brexit that is in our national interest, and the UK's and the EU's mutual interest".

The so-called Brexit White Paper has already shaken up Prime Minister Theresa May's leadership following resignations of her Brexit minister David Davis and foreign secretary Boris Johnson, who disagreed with what is seen as a much closer alignment with the European Union (EU) than desired, as it would reportedly make trade deals with other countries more hard.

Air Force One has landed at London Stansted Airport, where Trump is beginning a four-day visit to the country.

For supporters, Trump and Brexit offer the prospect of breaking free from what they see as obsolete institutions and rules.

"I'm going to a pretty hot spot right now, right?"

As Britain prepares to leave the European Union on March 29, 2019, supporters of Brexit have made much of the so-called special relationship with the United States and the benefits of forging closer trade ties with the world's biggest economy.

This would be phased in but officials insist it can be operational before the end of a post-Brexit transition period planned to last until December 2020.

Shrugging off the plans for mass protests, which will include a giant baby-shaped blimp bearing Trump's features, he said in Brussels: "They like me a lot in the UK".

Still the 36-minute video of the confrontation posted by Mia Irizarry , the woman targeted in the vide left many people upset. When the new officers arrived, they arrested Trybus on charges of misdemeanor assault and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

"They voted for us to take back control of our money, our law and our borders", she said.

"Time is running out so it is essential that the pace of negotiations accelerates to ensure an orderly Brexit".

Trump has frequently angered British politicians.

Trump also heaped praise on Boris Johnson, who resigned as foreign secretary this week along with Brexit Secretary David Davis in protest at May's strategy.

This plan therefore effectively permanently ties Britain to European Union rules.

Whilst Trump's trip is not the full state visit he was originally promised, he was heralded by military bands on his arrival in the country and at Blenheim, and on Friday he will have tea with Queen Elizabeth.

Some 77 percent of Britons have an unfavourable view of Trump, according to a poll by YouGov with 1,648 respondents.

"The people voted to break it up so I would imagine that's what they would do, but maybe they're taking a different route - I don't know if that is what they voted for". I get along with her very nicely.

Nick Hurd, Britain's Policing Minister, told parliament police expected more than 100 protests across the country, including two large demonstrations in London on Friday, and there were robust and proportionate plans in place.

Liberal Democrat former deputy prime minister Sir Nick Clegg said the United States leader had "every right" to come to the UK but added that he would be attending an anti-Trump demonstration.

Trump's visit comes amid fierce protests against the US leader, which included a blip portraying him as a big baby.

A campaign is also underway to get "American Idiot", a 2004 song by the USA punk rock band Green Day, to the top of the UK Singles Chart. Just Say No and No To Trump, No To War.

May will host a black-tie dinner for Trump there, attended by senior ministers and about 100 business leaders, including from Blackstone group, Blackrock, Diageo, McLaren and Arup.

No sitting USA president has ever made such biting public criticism of a British prime minister while visiting, and his comments undermined May in her party, her country and overseas.

His comments come at the start of a three-day tour of the United Kingdom, which included dinner at Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Winston Churchill, and tea with Queen Elizabeth II at Windsor Castle.

He is then due to spend two days at golf courses he owns in Scotland before travelling to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin.
