Dawn Sturgess, 44, died on Sunday evening after more than a week on life support.

The backdrop to this meeting was British but the issue was global as police issued a Novichok warning to the residents of Salisbury.

Police are working on the theory that Mr Rowley and Ms Sturgess were poisoned when they handled the contaminated container after discovering it lying around in Salisbury.
