Netflix’s app is getting a cool new feature, but only on Android

Netflix makes it easier to manage downloaded shows on Android

Netflix is making it easier to watch shows on mobile

You download Season 1, Episodes 1-3.

When you finish watching a deleted episode, smart downloads will delete the watched episode and automatically begin to download the next episode, when you're connected to wi-fi.

The new feature is starting to roll out for Android devices today and we're told that it will arrive on iOS devices "later this year".

A download status bar will appear on the screen when a new episode is downloading, and users will be notified when the download is complete.

One dead, 19 injured in Wonderboom plane crash
Russel Meiring, a spokesman for paramedic company ER24, says the injuries in Tuesday's crash range from minor to critical. The Civil Aviation Authority says it has dispatched its investigators to the plane crash site.

Once deleted, the new Smart Downloads feature in the Netflix application will then download the next episode of the series in the background without prompting you about it.

Interestingly, during a video released to explain the feature, Netflix says that newly downloaded episodes will only take up as much space as an episode it's just deleted, which should help allay any fears you have of Netflix chewing through your phone or tablet's storage space.

After making it possible for subscribers to download content in 2016, Netflix is making its download feature "smarter" and more binge-friendly.

The Netflix app allows users to download TV shows and movies manually, so they can be watched during offline viewing.

George Clooney taken to hospital after motorcycle crash in Sardinia
It is understood he was rushed to Saint John II Hospital in Olbia with minor injuries but has since been discharged from ER. According to Carabinieri officer Alberto Cicognani, the driver of the Mercedes hit Clooney after failing to stop at a turn.

"You watch, we do the work", summed up the post, which is attributed to Cameron Johnson, Director of Product Innovation.

Netflix is figuring out how to make TV work on your smartphone, where downloading a TV show can mean less room for selfies or devour your data plan.

Use the toggle to turn off the feature. However, that means you'll also have to keep in mind to manually delete the episodes you've watched once you're done with them.

The feature is part of an update to Netflix's Android mobile app this week.
