Hot, humid weather to continue through the week

Environment Canada has issued heat warnings for parts of northern Ontario and all of the southern part of the province. The humidity will also be lower even as the temperature starts to shoot back up, Phillips said.

According to the heat warning for Almaguin areas, first issued on Friday, June 29 at 3:19 p.m. and last updated at 4:57 a.m., Wednesday, July 4, temperatures on Wednesday and Thursday are once again forecast to climb into the low to mid 30s.

Environment Canada is saying residents of southern Ontario will see some overnight relief from the heat, but daytime temperatures are expected to remain steamy. "So you're really looking at a full week of really hot and humid weather". Low temperatures overnight will be in the high teens to low 20s providing little relief from the heat.
