Twitter reacts to news of Anthony Bourdain’s death

CNN said Bourdain´s body was found by his close friend Eric Ripert, the French executive chef of NY restaurant Le Bernardin.

CNN anchor John Berman remembered Bourdain as a "human contradiction". Through the simple act of sharing meals, he showcased both the extraordinary diversity of cultures and cuisines, yet how much we all have in common. "I launched an inquiry to determine the precise cause of the death of M. Bourdain". The most common sentiment: "I feel like I've lost a friend". Bourdain said in 2014 in an acceptance speech for a Peabody Award, a prestigious honor for U.S. media.

Anthony began his career by writing a New York Times bestselling book Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly in 2000.

That means any public health effort to reduce suicides can't exclusively focus on those who have reached out for help. Rates increased in all USA states except Nevada, where the rate was consistently high throughout the study period.
