So what did we get instead? Some Shadow of the Tomb Raider gameplay was welcomed, showcasing how Lara is basically just asking out MGS: Tomb Eater now with her dispatching of bad guys with the same freedom as Nathan Drake with just as little in the way of a conscience. By giving early glimpses to Microsoft, they took out a lot of sting from their own conference before it even began.
Kingdom Hearts III has been all over E3 2018, and it's shown up once more for Sony's press conference. I don't think I'd pay that, but maybe Kingdom Hearts is your jam and you need this in your life. Just Cause 4 was the same - a competent trailer, but one that fans had basically seen during the Xbox showcase. But we already knew about Just Cause 4. Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age will be coming on September 4th. In the short teaser we got, it looks like Babylon's Fall is a melee action game with a healthy dose of fantasy elements thrown in there.

There is more information for the game being promised in August. Final Fantasy Brave Exvius and Dragon Quest will also have a crossover taking place around the same time. That one comes with a couple of action figures based on the Toy Story world in-game and all the previous goodies.

Once players reach Level 30, they will be able to choose among different Specializations, such as demolitionist, sharpshooter or survivalist.
Either way, this one has a low-key, gritty visual aesthetic compared to other Square Enix games, so it should be interesting to follow moving forward.

The offer also includes a rematch clause, which Joshua and his team insisted on, and Wilder is happy to accept that also. We want the fight next, we're waiting for the contract and we're ready to go'.
