Jaguar has announced a handful of updates for the E-Pace, including a new entry-level petrol engine and adaptive suspension, for the European market.

E-Pace will recognise the driver approaching when it senses the key fob and smartphone using a Bluetooth signal, and then adjust the seat, climate, and infotainment system based on the driver's normal preference.
Over time, algorithms tailor settings based on time, location, weather and behaviour patterns - for example, pre-heating the steering wheel and seats on a cold day, or changing the media source on a particular day of the week or time of day.
Jag says the system can remember 2,500 different settings for up to eight different drivers - everything from seat/mirror positions to favourite radio stations, and much besides.

Snap has introduced a new "Clear Chats" feature in Snapchat, letting users delete unopened, viewed, or saved messages. Snapchat will now let users delete sent messages to friends in individual or group conversations.

Jaguar's Adaptive Dynamics system, now available on every vehicle in its range bar the XJ, has Normal and Dynamic modes, with the former majoring on comfort and the latter focusing on agility.
Among the other updates is the addition of Adaptive Dynamics which offer improved handling response, body control and ride. Adaptive Dynamics uses continuously variable damper technology with a triple-tube design and externally mounted hydraulic valves. This suspension monitors vehicle movements every two milliseconds and calculates the required damping force every 10 milliseconds.
The new Ingenium four-cylinder turbo petrol produces 147kW of power, good for a claimed 7.7-second sprint to 60mph (97km/h) and 34.4mpg (8.2L/100km) on the combined cycle. All the new engines from the Coventry-based carmaker now comes equipped with particulate filters to achieve a higher standard of emission control.
