Bethesda Softworks Releases Doom Eternal Reveal Trailer; Brings Hell On Earth

Bethesda has done a great job of bringing back some of their most iconic franchises over the last few years. It captures the essence of what made the classic Doom games touchstones of their day, and translates it to suit modern palates with impressively rendered hellscapes and a steady influx of tantalizing upgrades. Doom just got a sequel, and it looks, fittingly, extremely dark.

Bethesda has announced DOOM Eternal, a follow up to the 2016 DOOM reboot that among other things, will boast twice the number of demon types compared to the previous game.

During Bethesda's annual E3 press conference the company showed a teaser trailer that featured numerous iconic enemies from the series, including the minotaur-like cyber-demon and the giant spider-brains with a mounted laser.

As the DOOM Slayer, players will return to take theirr vengeance against the forces of Hell.

Featuring an awesome montage of fast cars, mad fashions, bad-ass ladies, scuzzy dudes and a helluva lot of the old ultraviolence. The trailer of Cyberpunk 2077 begins with the narrator talking about the fact that the game is set in the US in the year 2077.

Gameplay for Doom Eternal will be revealed later this summer at QuakeCon 2018 in Dallas, Texas on August 10th, and it'll be live-streamed for everyone who is not able to attend. We'll update with more info - including which systems it'll be on - once we have it.
