Less than a week away from the Royal Wedding and Meghan Markle's father, Thomas Markle, told TMZ that he no longer plans to attend the wedding and walk his daughter down the aisle.

Ms Markle and her mother Doria Ragland will stay at Cliveden House on the National Trust estate about 10 miles from the wedding venue in Windsor.

Markle accepts that the idea for a photo shoot of him preparing for the wedding was "stupid", according to TMZ, but not serious enough to keep him from making the trip to England if he gets the all-clear.

"I've been popping Valium for the pain, especially when I hear about my oldest daughter", he said.

Mr Markle, who has two children - including Samantha - from his first marriage, filed for bankruptcy two years ago. 'But, you know, she can't be the sex bomb on her wedding day.

When asked for an update on the situation, Samantha confirmed the reports her father suffered a heart attack last week. He's since reportedly admitted the photos were staged.

Reps reveals new date to pass 2018 budget
The National Assembly has raised the figures of the 2018 Appropriation Bill from N8.612 trillion earlier presented by President Muhammadu Buhari to N9.120 trillion.

The Daily Mail reports that Thomas Markle was caught on CCTV collaborating with Los Angeles-based paparazzi photographer Jeff Rayner on a series of photos that were sold to publications around the world for up to £100,000 (~$136,000).

According to the celebrity news site TMZ, Markle has pulled out of the wedding because he doesn't want to embarrass his daughter or the royal family.

Then comes the news that he suffered a heart attack just seven days ago. He is now said to feel "like a total fool" who has been "scammed".

Kensington Palace described the situation as a "deeply personal moment" for Ms Markle and asked for understanding and respect to be extended to Mr Markle, the Metro says.

Prince Harry also issued a strongly-worded statement in 2016 because of the paparazzi's obsession with Markle and her family, as well as the United Kingdom media's headlines about her race.

Her mother, Doria Ragland (61) a social worker and yoga teacher who lives in Los Angeles, is expected to accompany her daughter in the bridal vehicle.

Oklahoma woman sought in stabbing of daughter, endangering another
Police say the 11-year-old girl is in "very severe condition" in a Tulsa hospital after being repeatedly stabbed. She drives a 2005 Lexus RX-300 SUV with a paper license tag, though she may now be driving a navy Ford sedan.

Despite recent reports about her father, Meghan Markle still wants him at her and Prince Harry's wedding on Saturday, a source tells ET.

Both parents were also expected to meet Queen Elizabeth II and other senior royals in the days before the wedding. Since retired, he has been living in Mexico.

TMZ said it had spoken to Markle and that he had said a paparazzi agency had approached him and offered him money, although the sum was not close to the reported figure.

"When we discovered Prince Harry proposed over a roast chicken, we simply had to show our support for the big occasion", a KFC spokesperson said in a statement to Mashable.

Meghan Markle's half-sister, Samantha Markle, recently said she was the "culprit" who urged their father to stage the photos in an ill-fated bid to improve his image.
