Mike Budenholzer reportedly agrees to become head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks

REPORT: Bucks hire former Atlanta head coach Mike Budenholzer as new head coach

Milwaukee Bucks: Mike Budenholzer is the right choice for the team

Mike Budenholzer and the Bucks have reportedly reached an agreement to hire him as their head coach, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Milwaukee made the right choice by hiring Budenholzer.

With Antetokounmpo leading a young, but super-talented team; Bucks fans will be hoping Budenholzer can get the best out of a roster that has often been misused. Interim coach Joe Prunty led the team to a 21-16 record and took them to Game 7 of their first round series against the Boston Celtics.

Outrage over racial slur printed on Starbucks cup
The barista had called the police after one of the black men asked to use the bathroom without making a purchase. A spokesperson for Starbucks told INSIDER that "this kind of mistake is unacceptable".

The deal comes just a few weeks after Budenholzer and the Atlanta Hawks parted ways following a dismal 24-58 season. Unfortunately, players like Al Horford, Jeff Teague, and Paul Millsap ended up going elsewhere and the Hawks were one of the worst teams in the National Basketball Association in 2017-18.

It's unclear what this means for former interim head coach Joe Prunty and current assistants Greg Foster, Stacey Augmon and Sean Sweeney - all of whom are now assistants on the Bucks.

The Bucks have the talent to compete for a top seed if they play a style that unlocks their freakishness. David Griffin has been rumored as a potential candidate for the front office position, while Jerry Stackhouse and Mike Budenholzer are potential replacement coaches.

Germany, Belgium and Ireland and several UN Security Council members have also called for an investigation into Monday's carnage. The status of Jerusalem al-Quds is the thorniest issue in the decades-long Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Before joining the Hawks, Budenholzer spent 19 seasons with the San Antonio Spurs, including a 17-year stint as an assistant coach. In prior years, they were well coached and always had a good defense. Most Popovich assistants that go on to become head coaches have success.

What Budenholzer brings to the Bucks is a modern system.

If the Bucks defense improves under Budenholzer, like everybody expects it to, then Milwaukee is going to be a strong challenger in the East.
