Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner subjects of Vicky Ward book

Yitzhak has previously suggested that women who dress immodestly are "animals" and that black people are "monkeys." Instead, it was his daughter, Ivanka, and her husband, Jared Kushner, who willingly received a blessing from a rabbi who has made no secret of his disrespect for Black people, according to reports.

Kushner and Trump, both senior advisors to President Trump, are in Israel as part of the American delegation celebrating the moving of the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

Yosef had also attracted criticism for other comments in the past few years, such as implying in 2017 that secular women behave like animals due to their immodest dress and claiming in 2016 that according to Jewish law, non-Jews are forbidden from living in Israel.

Wall St drops on concerns over US-China trade woes, rising inflation
The Shanghai Composite index dropped 0.3 percent to 3,183.28 and shares in Southeast Asia were lower while Taiwan advanced. The rise in bond yields pulled down shares in real estate investment trusts and other high-dividend-paying stocks.

Ward tells us she's "in the thick of reporting" and spending a "great deal of time" in Washington for the book, which is to be published by St. Martin's Press in 2019. "To be modest [in her dress] is her dignity".

The exact word Yosef used was "kushi", a term "in modern Hebrew [that] has pejorative connotations", the Times of Israel reported at the time.

The rabbi had been criticized for his racist remarks, as the New York-based Anti-Defamation League called them "racially charged" and "utterly unacceptable".

Celebs Blame Trump For Deadly Protest Over US Embassy Opening In Jerusalem
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Trump in his address that "by recognising history you have made history". John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign, called Kushner and Ivanka's role in the embassy unveil "outlandish".

Yitzhak responded by saying he was "merely citing the Talmud", which is one of the central works of the Jewish people that spans a period of about six hundred years.

That news, reported by Barak Ravid writing for Axios, comes as the presidential adviser and son-in-law joins a delegation for the opening of the new US embassy in Jerusalem, and meets with Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu.
