Guillermo Del Toro Bringing Horror Anthology Series to Netflix

According to The Hollywood Reporter, del Toro will personally curate the stories for the series, which aims to be both sophisticated and horrific, with stand-alone scares along the lines of the defunct Masters Of Horror show.

Quim Torra to be elected Catalan president
The Catalan separatist movement has caused the worst political and institutional crisis in Spain in decades. He also vows to establish a constituent assembly to write the constitution for a Catalan republic.

As well, Netflix says del Toro will write and direct certain episodes, while others will be developed by "the genre's best writers and exciting new filmmakers", as chosen by del Toro himself. Dale is on board to executive produce the anthology series along with Exile Entertainment's Gary Ungar.

10 After Midnight is del Toro's first anthology and arrives less than a year after FX wrapped The Strain, the four-season horror drama the two-time Oscar-winning Shape of Water writer and director co-created alongside Carlton Cuse. Coming off a pair of Academy Award wins for The Shape of Water, including Best Picture, the Mexican-born talent clearly isn't interested in spending any time away from the world of storytelling.

Guillermo del Toro is a name that many are familiar with as the director has been responsible for directing quite a few supernatural/fantasy style movies, such as Pan's Labyrinth, Hellboy, and more recently The Shape of Water. An episode count and premiere date for the drama remain unclear.

It's worth noting that del Toro has a home in Toronto and frequently works on films there. If this is your brand of TV, then you're going to love what the visionary, del Toro, has in store for you. The new series will feature handpicked horror stories from Del Toro.
