The interior features AMR-specific elements that add more appeal than the standard DB11.

The premiere of Aston Martin DB11 AMR took place at the opening of the corporate center AMR Performance Centre on the North loop of the nürburgring race track.

The additional horsepower lets the grand tourer hit 62 miles per hour (100 kilometers per hour) in 3.7 seconds, which is 0.2 seconds quicker than before.

The Aston Martin DB11 AMR is available to order now from £174 995 (R2.9 million) ex works, with first customer deliveries from mid-2018.

Aston Martin claims to have re-tuned the suspensions without hampering the comfortable touring abilities of the DB11. The DB11 V12 AMR Edition is limited to 100 units and will set you back approximately $270,000 Dollars.

Aston Martin has been tight-lipped about performance specifications but the model is expected to feature a twin-turbo 5.2-liter V12 that produces around 700 hp (522 kW / 710 PS). A new shift calibration for the transmission and a slightly more vocal exhaust note ensures the DB11 AMR expresses its character more explicitly when Sport mode is engaged. Beside getting a bump in power, the boosted V12 also benefits from a new stainless steel exhaust that gives the DB11 a louder performance.

The new SQ6 does away with the digital side of things and is purely for shooting analog square-format Instax film. The lens has two components and two elements and has a minimum focus distance of 1 foot (0.3 meters).

Appearance wise, the DB11 AMR gets a new AMR paint job with exposed carbon fibre trim and a glossy black detailing.

From previous spy pictures, the DBS Superleggera coupe might not look immediately distinct from the DB11, but sit the pair side-by-side and you'll notice that the DBS has a far more upright and square rear end, with the inclusion of what we now know are Vantage-derived tail lights. More aggressive design theme continues inside, where there's a monochrome trim and Alcantara upholstery. Beyond that, the DB11 AMR also comes with the following: electric-power assisted steering with 13:1 steering ratio, limited-slip differential, alloy torque tube with carbon fiber prop shaft and launch control. The cabin will be done in Dark Knight leather with the same lime colour finishes. Aston only intends to build 100 of these special models.
