Sony India launches its 2018 headphone and Wireless Speaker lineup

With the wireless audio product on a rise, Sony India has announced the launch of the wireless audio range for the Indian market. The most affordable of the three is the WI-SP500, which supports voice commands for Google Assistant, extra bass sound and 10 hours of battery life and is priced at Rs 9,990.

The new WF-SP700N Bluetooth headphone comes with digital noise-cancelling technology and a splash-proof design and will be available for Rs 12,990. The noise cancellation can be turned on by using the the Ambient Sound mode. The speaker lineup on the other hand, consists of three wireless speakers - SRS-XB41, SRS-XB31 and SRS-XB21.

The WF-SP700N fit very securely in ears and comes with a compact, one-touch-open charging case and has three hours of battery life plus two additional charges from their case, offering up to nine hours total in between charges. It can be easily connected to your smartphone via NFC.

There is also a fingerprint scanner on the rear and keep in mind that this smartphone does not feature a 3.5mm audio jack. There are features like Smart Stamina, Stamina Mode, Qnovo Adaptive Charging, Quick Charge 3.0 and Qi Wireless Charging.

WI-SP600N and WI-SP500 These wireless in-ear headphones boast of the same digital noise cancelling and sound quality technology and the same level splash-proof rating as the WF-SP700N. With this pair, one can keep listening for up to approximately 6 hours.

The products will be available in all Sony Centres and major electronic stores across the country. All the new headphones support Google Assistant/Siri, feature NFC and have have Bluetooth connectivity. The assistant can help the user get things done, listen to music, hear the incoming messages, make calls and more.

The WH-CH400 and WH-CH500 have on-ear and over-the-ear designs respectively. These new wireless speakers are all about portability and durability along with Sony's trademark Extra Bass sound system.

Sony is pricing the WF-SP700N at Rs 12,990, and it will be available in black and yellow color from May 15, 2018. Priced at Rs 9,990, this has a neckband design.

All three speakers are waterproof, rustproof and rustproof and can be made to connect to one another through Sony's Wireless Party Chan mode that will be able to connect up to 100 speakers at once. The cheaper SP500 claims to offer eight hours of battery. Both the headphones offer up to 20 hours of backup while the WH-CH300 with a neckband design promises eight hours of battery life. The speakers are enabled with "Party Booster" feature which enhances the beats and gives the party an extra boost, claims the company. Sony has priced the XB31 and XB41 for Rs 9,990 and Rs 13,990 respectively which will be available for sale from April 17th. They will be available starting today in multiple color options with SRS-XB21 available in black, blue, red and white colours.
