The Walking Dead season 8 finale set off to do the seemingly impossible - wrap up the long war of the Saviors against Rick and his allies.
Right now, things are looking as peaceful as can be hoped for in a show like The Walking Dead. Single! Gun! Malfunctioned! Eugene double-crossed the Saviors and made defective bullets that jammed the guns!
Morgan begins running. Carol chases after him.
The Walking Dead season 8, episode 16, "Wrath," brought the end of the war against the Saviors - here's what went down!
Rick hasn't been the greatest leader, it's true, but if Gimple and company think the way to win back fans is a survivor mutiny I think there's trouble ahead for more people than Rick.
Facebook CEO Zuckerberg's Compensation Up By 54% In 2017
For most users this would have come about if they had previously downloaded the "This is your digital life" app. Right now we are in the midst of a general election and you know people get passionate in the Caribbean.
By episode's end, Morgan had left Hilltop for the Scavengers' dump, where he convinced Jadis, a.k.a. Ann, to join Rick's group, telling her, "Everything is about people, everything in this life that's worth a damn".
So long Dwight: While the Hilltoppers were practically singing "Kumbaya" with their former enemies the Saviors, Daryl couldn't let his beef with Dwight go. Daryl just tosses vehicle keys at him. Dwight pulls up to his old house and finds a note with the word "Honeymoon" and an infinity symbol on it from his wife. She also believes Michonne was wrong for holding her back.
A serene Carol (Melissa McBride), realizing the value of community, returned to the Kingdom. She says that she made the right decision in not killing the Saviors they had as prisoners. (Cohan isn't signed for next season but AMC program chief David Madden last week said he expected "something positive to announce" soon.) "Rick was wrong to do what he did".
Maggie lets Jesus and Daryl know that her plan for Hilltop is to build the community to be stronger, including making sure they can defend themselves in the future. "We are worse than we were", Morgan told him. Rick says they won't kill or hurt Negan, but rather he's going to rot in a cell for the rest of his life.
Rick sat at the tree, said "my mercy prevails over my wrath", and broke down in tears, finally mourning his boy. Carl showed them the next world.

The accused arrested were - Devendra Gupta, Lokesh Sharma, Swami Aseemanand , Bharat Mohanlal Rateshwar and Rajendra Chowdhary. The judgment will decide the complicity of five of the 10 accused charge-sheeted in the case.
I am pleased with the ending of season 8.
Viewers now know that scenario is a possibility, although the finale shrewdly planted the seeds for future discord (this is a drama, after all), emanating from those who had been Rick's closing allies. A few people rushed forward to help Negan and Maggie [Lauren Cohan] completely lost it.
If that's the case, then the Whisperers could be exactly what The Walking Dead needs to get back on top.
What did you think of "The Walking Dead" season 8 finale? "We're going to bide our time, wait for our moment and then we're going to show him", Maggie tells Jesus and Daryl.
Synopsis:In Season 4, we will see the world of Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) and her family through new eyes - the eyes of Morgan Jones (Lennie James), who is joining the story from the world of "The Walking Dead".
HMD Global to bring back Android-powered Nokia X, hints teaser
However, advertisements have started cropping up in China for a new, unreleased device, which everyone is calling the " Nokia X ". HMD Global which now owns the license to manufacture and sell Nokia phones is likely to unveil a new device in the coming days.
It was a cool twist, although it makes one wonder: Even though time was of the essence, didn't anyone - besides Negan, who was given a gun with working bullets - test the new ammunition before going into battle? Season 9 will see veteran Walking Dead writer Angela Kang take over from Gimple as showrunner, and the Whisperers would offer her excellent material to work with.
