Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens May Have Committed A Felony: AG

"Eric built The Mission Continues from scratch, and he helped thousands of veterans by doing so", Martin said. "AG Hawley's public statements demonstrate that he understands that by calling for Gov. Greitens to resign, he has predetermined the guilt of his own investigative target and his investigation now is clearly compromised". He says it's up to the St. Louis prosecutor to decide whether to charge Greitens.

Greitens responded to Hawley's accusations later Tuesday, saying, "Anyone who has set foot in a Missouri courtroom knows these allegations are ridiculous". "We will dispense with these false allegations". He said his office recently discovered the evidence and the statute of limitations for the charge is fast approaching but the decision to press charges is in the hands of the St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office.

Greitens in response ripped into both Hawley, who is running for U.S. Senate this year, and St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner.

"[Greitens] did all of this without permission of The Mission Continues", Hawley said at the Tuesday morning press conference. He called Gardner a liberal prosecutor.

The most common mistakes taxpayers make are putting in information incorrectly and failing to report small income like jury duty. Tax returns are due today, and the Internal Revenue Service wants taxpayers to go online rather than pick up the phone.

"We have uncovered evidence of wrongdoing that goes beyond Missouri's charity laws". "These standards for impeachment say that a crime is grounds for impeachment, so I think you could certainly say that these appear to be impeachable offenses - that is a decision for the House to make, however, and that's why we're giving them everything that we have".

Greitens already faces a felony invasion-of-privacy charge in St. Louis for allegedly taking and transmitting a nonconsensual photo of a partially nude woman with whom Greitens said he had an affair in 2015, before he was elected.

If charged, computer tampering over $500 is a felony in Missouri and Hawley says there is evidence it is over $500. Spokeswoman Susan Ryan declined further comment.

Walker, who campaigned for Greitens, calls the situation "horribly sad".

Not your friend", "Dead and alive", and finally a tweet that said, "Let's not have a murder case On (sic) your hands". In the meantime, Mbem-Bosse would send out a thread of since-deleted threatening tweets aimed at MI .

At issue, Hawley said, is an electronic donor list Greitens obtained from a Missouri nonprofit called The Mission Continues. He also referred the matter to a House committee that will be recommending whether to impeach Greitens.

In the two-page letter, Dowd said that statement taints Hawley's investigation into separate allegations of campaign finance irregularities by Greitens, in which the governor is alleged to have used a fundraising list obtained from his former charity to help him raise cash for his maiden political campaign.

Eric Greitens, already fighting for his political life and facing a felony charge related to an extramarital affair, could soon face another felony count after Attorney General Josh Hawley cited evidence Tuesday that Greitens' use of a charity donor list broke the law.
