The subject of a nationwide manhunt, Riess was arrested Thursday in the lobby of a restaurant in South Padre Island, Texas after someone recognized her and called police.
She was transported to the Cameron County Jail and after her extradition hearing will be transferred to Florida, where she faces charges for murder, grand theft of a motor vehicle, and grand theft and criminal use of personal identification.
