While rumors are rife about three new iPhones inspired by iPhone X heading our way this September, new evidence is pointing towards an iPhone surprise at the company's annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June.
The regulatory filings with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) have revealed a total of 11 model numbers belonging to upcoming iPhone models.
Sadly, it seems Apple plans to ditch one of the features that helped the phone appeal to some sections of the iPhone fanbase; the headphone jack. The phone will be powered by Apple's A10 Fusion chip and that is almost 40 percent faster than the chip that powers the current iPhone SE, the A9 SoC.
#MeToo: Three more women accuse Ali Zafar of harassment
She wrote, "The memories of the times when Ali thought he could get away by saying vulgar things still disgust me", she added. He added, "I categorically deny any and all claims of harassment lodged against me by Ms *****".
This is relevant as EEC usually adds new products to its database about a month before the official launch.
The same French blog found EEC regulatory filings for two iPad models back in February, ahead of the March release of Apple's sixth-generation iPad models. Apple eliminated the legacy port on all iPhones beginning with the iPhone 7 in 2016.
The model numbers listed on the EEC website include A1920, A1921, A1984, A2097, A2098, A2099, A2101, A2103, A2104, and A2106 and all of them is said to run on iOS 11.
Final trailer for Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom unleashes the beast
Isla Nublar now sits abandoned by humans while the surviving dinosaurs fend for themselves in the jungles. Oh and there's also this girl, who can probably give The Meg a run for its money.
The previous iPhone SE was announced way back in March 2016, so two years later, it's definitely time for the low-priced device to experience an overhaul and to address the gap in the budget market for those who can't afford the iPhone X or even iPhone 8. Well, if the rumors are true, it would probably have a full glass-based design, in order to allow wireless charging just as the iPhone 8 and iPhone X. And we dare say it will have a notch at the top, coming along with a bigger screen and a TrueDepth Camera to allow facial recognition. The timing of the latest filing indicates that an iPhone SE 2 could make its debut soon enough, and a spring unveiling would make sense.
In terms of pricing, the previous iPhone SE is still available from £349 - substantially less than the company's flagships or even its mid-range devices. Despite some incremental upgrades, the iPhone SE 2 will cater to the budget-conscious customers.
The iPhone SE is a popular model and is selling well in emerging markets like India. With local manufacturing, Apple can maintain a competitive price tag in India. The 128GB variant, on the other hand, will likely be priced above Rs.30,000 in the country.
