Facebook will add AR doodles and Boomerang GIFs to Stories

AR allows users to doodle on the real world, ie draw their own AR images in real life. "Stories" was first implemented in Snapchat, but has quickly been adopted by rivals Facebook and Instagram, which have launched their own Stories. The company confirmed to TechCrunch that the features would start rolling out to users worldwide in the coming weeks.

"Starting today, we are introducing a new experience called Stories, connecting Messenger Day and Facebook Stories".

Ohtani Sparks Angels To Win In Kansas City
Ohtani did what most players would do in that situation: he laughed, signed some autographs, but held on to his bat and then left. The Royals have won the last four home starts for Junis and four of his last five starts against AL West opponents.

In addition to the new 3D feature, Facebook has also rolled out an option to create and share boomerangs just like Instagram. That is exactly what a feature like Stories has done to companies like Snapchat, Instagram, WhatsApp and now Facebook. Whatever you draw also stays static and does not disappear even if you move the camera away.

Facebook might be having a tough time dealing with the aftermath of the Cambridge Analytica crisis, but that hasn't stopped the social media giant from working on improving its products. Further, the reports from web suggest that the technology behind the AR feature can also sense corners and objects in space, and can also detect walls and tables.

For those unfamiliar, Facebook Stories allows you to post pictures and videos for other users to view. This, in turn, allows a user to wrap his/her art on the objects which are visible in the camera feed. Boomerang in case you are not an Instagram user, is a tool that enables you to take animated back and forth clips. That feature has not been updated yet and it is now getting polished with a whole new look. Facebook Stories has not been able to duplicate that success yet, but the company likely hopes that integrating the established Boomerang brand will change this. Yes, there are millions of Facebook users who are making use of this Facebook Stories on a daily basis.
