Also, while Apple found 29 leakers in its organization, 12 of them were arrested for leaking details about the company's future plans as well as activities, a report has stated.

Last year, the company said it caught 29 leakers - 12 of whom were later arrested.

After nearly every major detail on the iPhone X, iPhone 8, and iPhone 8 Plus leaked, Apple's 2018 plans for both iOS and macOS leaked, as did details about the company's upcoming Apple Watch and iPad revisions.

The memo was published as an internal company blog post. The employee filed a lawsuit claiming their speech was protected under California law.

Even though the memo was released to keep employees in check and to protect trade secrets, it did not keep into account conversations these employees might have with their spouses or children.

As Apple and Android continue to fight for smartphone dominance, it seems as if Apple has already won over the hearts and minds of teenagers across the country. All Apple wanted was to destroy the counterfeit displays, pay a fine of about $3566, and sign an agreement not to manufacture, import, sell, or deal with any products that infringe Apple's trademarks. In 2012, CEO Tim Cook kicked off a mission to double down on secrecy in order to protect information about unannounced offerings by the company. The leaked memo offers a glimpse into the darker side of the company that is usually considered as a happy, pro-people firm.
