Eurocontrol, the agency that coordinates air traffic over Europe, has warned airlines to be cautious when flying over the eastern Mediterranean due to possible airstrikes on Syria.

Pan-European air control management agency Eurocontrol has issued an urgent warning to airlines, advising of the possibility of missile strikes into Syria and resulting disruption to flight paths.

The statement came after U.S. President Donald Trump announced Monday he would decide within 48 hours how to respond to Saturday's alleged chemical weapons attack by the Syrian regime in Douma, Syria.
