"It's a bit far off at the moment but there is the likelihood of snow showers particularly in the east. Temperatures look like they'll be around 3 to 5 degrees".

According to the current Met Éireann forecast, St Patrick's weekend is set to be very cold with snow also on the horizon! Wind speeds are forecast to gust up to 90 to 100 km/h in places across Leinster.

There will be three St Patrick's Day parades taking place locally at the weekend.
