Man shot by police in custody after barricade situation ends

Greensboro Police said they found multiple weapons in the suspect vehicle.

Returning to the store at 5:15 pm, the man pulled out a handgun and threatened the 24-year old woman and 42-year old man working at the store, said police.

The suspect was reportedly shot by police and injured.

Greensboro police said the shooting happened following a traffic stop in the parking lot of the Battleground Village shopping center.

An officer caught one of the suspects by Total Wine & More. Police say the man was taken to a local hospital and is now listed in "guarded condition".
