The Titans are signing free agent cornerback Malcolm Butler to a five-year deal worth $61 million, according to multiple sources.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport pegs the agreement as a four-year deal that will pay him among the top 10 running backs in the game. Butler will pair up with Logan Ryan, who signed a year ago, and first round pick Adoree' Jackson.

Of course, 49ers fans remember Butler's goal-line interception of the Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson to seal Super Bowl XLIX during his rookie season in 2014. But Butler's market shaped up brilliantly, and it never reached the point where returning to New England was on the table.

The 28-year-old Butler was named to the Pro Bowl in 2015.

Malcolm Butler is about to become a rich man in new surroundings around familiar faces.

The Titans will add Butler to a secondary already featuring Ryan and Adoree Jackson, who started 16 games after being drafted 18th overall.

The Tennessee Titans have apparently chose to jump into the free agent arms race with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Lewis would certainly fit in Pat Shurmur's scheme because of his ability to be a home run hitter as a ball-carrier and threat as a pass-catcher out of the backfield.

Oklahoma City Thunder's Russell Westbrook posts 100th career triple-double
Westbrook sits in fourth place behind Oscar Robertson (181), Magic Johnson (138) and Jason Kidd (107) in all-time triple-doubles. Westbrook's 100th triple-double came against the Atlanta Hawks , who have allowed four of Westbrook's triple-doubles.

After releasing Murray, the Titans needed more help for quarterback Marcus Mariota and new offensive coordinator Matt LaFleur.

Lewis would theoretically fill the 3rd down running back and "scat-back" niche in new head coach Frank Reich's offense, which utilized Wendell Smallwood, Corey Clement, and Darren Sproles in similar capacities over the past two seasons with the Eagles. He also chipped in 32 receptions for 214 yards and 3 TDs.
