Chelsea news Marco Reus urges Borussia Dortmund to seal permanent Michy Batshuayi deal

Should Borussia Dortmund intend on signing Chelsea loan star Michy Batshuayi permanently in the summer, they will have to part with £53m, according to a report.

The Belgian continued his goalscoring run at the weekend as he netted twice in his sides 3-2 to win over Frankfurt whilst also claiming the man of the match award after coming on as a sub.

Dortmund got a reported £56 million for Aubameyang when he joined Arsenal and it makes complete sense for them to reinvest those funds in Batshuayi, a direct replacement who has hit the ground running.

Marco Reus is one team-mate very keen for deal to be done.

Marco Reus last week extended his contract with the Bundesliga club, and he's publicly stated it would be good if Batshuayi could stay beyond the end of the season.

This result could prove to be vital in the table as Batshauyi's temporary club, like Chelsea, have ambitions to play in the Champions League next season.

'He showed how important he can be for us.

Dortmund manager Peter Stoger has granted the forward the responsibility in attack he once enjoyed at Marseille since he came to the Westfalenstadion, and Batshuayi has repaid that faith with much-improved form.

He spent last season with the Eagles and played a critical role as the team's nickel cornerback in their Super Bowl run. Davis developed into an elite three-down linebacker last season with the Jets, recording 135 tackles and five sacks.

Batshuayi has opened the door on a full-time switch to Borussia Dortmund but admitted it is a matter for the two clubs to thrash out.

"I'm in a good exchange with (sporting director Michael) Zorc and (CEO Hans-Joachim) Watzke", Said Reus.

Chelsea have reportedly slapped a £53m price tag on Michy Batshuayi's head.
