Steve Bruce's side, having thrashed the leaders Wolves 4-1 on Saturday, fell behind to Ryan Manning's header after 12 minutes and Jake Bidwell's deflected effort put the visitors 2-0 up at half-time. "They know that all the pressure is on the big clubs because of the expectation on their players".

"If I'd have done a wishlist years ago I couldn't have asked for much more - perhaps being 30 points clear at the top would have been nice, but unfortunately that's not the case!"

"But there's still some way to go and Tuesday will now be a more hard game than today".

The Wolves game was a great night for everyone connected with Villa and there will be a feel-good factor around the place tonight. It's a bad feeling but we've got a game on Tuesday, we've got to look up, get ready for that and really go again.
