Cameron Diaz is reportedly retired from acting

Cameron has been on a hiatus since the release of Annie back in 2014, where she starred as Miss Hannigan. Diaz quit acting and will be retiring at age 45, at least according to her pal Selma Blair. Over lunch with her bud Diaz, Blair said she floated the idea of filming a sequel to "Sweetest Thing", the 2002 rom-com in which they co-starred.

'I mean, she doesn't need to make any more films, she has a pretty great life, I don't know what it would take to bring her back'.

After beginning her career as a model, Cameron went on to find fame as a sultry jazz singer in Jim Carey film The Mask in 1994 before going on to star in There's Something About Mary and Charlie's Angels.

Cardinals Expected To Release Adrian Peterson
At age 32, and 33 when the 2018 season starts, Peterson isn't exactly a hot commodity and his style a play is more 1998 than 2018. As part of the trade, the Cardinals sent New Orleans a conditional sixth-round pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.

The actress last appeared as Miss Hannigan in the rebooted version of Annie almost four years ago.

While the reasons for Diaz's reported retirement are unclear, one could feasibly be that she wants to focus on wellness, with her books, The Body Book and The Longevity Book: The Science of Aging, the Biology of Strength, and the Privilege of Time, echoing actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who has stepped back from Hollywood in order to focus on her lifestyle brand, Goop. "She is enjoying being at home and being a housewife".

In In Her Shoes, Cameron Diaz wreaks havoc on the lives of her family and friends as the easygoing Maggie (much to the chagrin of her sister, played by Toni Collette).

Deadly explosion in Austin kills teen, injures woman
Police said they have reclassified that investigation as a homicide, and can not rule out that the two explosions aren't related. First responders took 39-year-old Anthony Stephan House to a hospital, but he died from his injuries shortly after the blast.

Cameron revealed previous year that one of the biggest issues with acting isn't the long hours or bad reviews, but the constant travelling.

The now 45-year-old Diaz married Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden in 2015, and based on what Blair says above, is seemingly happy focusing on her home life. A source speaking to Us Weekly, hinted that Cameron was purportedly ditching Hollywood because she wanted to have a child.

It'd be a shame if she did indeed step away from the limelight, but who knows, maybe there might be script that's just too good to turn down.
