News agency ANI tweeted, "Singer Aditya Narayan was detained by Versova police station after he hit a rickshaw at Andheri s Lokhandwala circle earlier today. Apparently, he took a wrong U-turn, leading to the accident".
Based on the statement given by complainant Shivekar, the police have booked Aditya under Sections of IPC for rash driving (279), causing grievous hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others (338) as well as under the provision of Motor Vehicle Act for risky driving. The police are still waiting for the results of the test to arrive.
