A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the rest of the region where ice will cause hazardous road conditions then a minor accumulation of snowfall.

Snow accumulations are predicted to be in the range of five to seven inches, the Weather Service said. It will remain in affect from 9 p.m. Wednesday until noon Thursday. Temperatures in The County were rising quickly though, with highs at or around 50 degrees forecast for the day.
