UEFA on Thursday announced its 2017 Team of the Year.

In terms of players, the Spanish league dominated the final selection with six making the final team.

Marcelo, Sergio Ramos, Toni Kroos and Luka Modric join Ronaldo in the team, while Messi is the only Barcelona player to feature. The squad is as follows: Goalkeeper: Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus).
