Salah issues response to Real Madrid transfer speculation

Liverpool player Mo Salah has hit out at rumours linking him with Real Madrid, and claimed that he will not be joining the La Liga giants, and that the reports linking him to the club were wrong.

Speculations regarding Salah's move away from Liverpool will give the Reds definite cause for concern as they are already shy of a playmaker like Coutinho.

And he's enjoying a ridiculous campaign, weighing in with goals, including 17 in the league, and assists.

He found the target against Everton, Bournemouth and Arsenal, before netting twice against Leicester City, with his effort in the Merseyside derby being voted Liverpool Goal of the month.

His influence on the team has caught the eye of Europe's elite.

It's nearly impossible to believe Salah would follow Coutinho out of the Anfield exit door in the winter transfer window, and Real boss Zinedine Zidane effectively confirmed the 25-year-old wouldn't be joining Real before this season is over. "I don't talk much about other players, but he is a player I rate a lot".

The sharks are already circling though with Real Madrid thought to be weighing up a bid for Salah after their rivals captured his former teammate.

Either way, Salah has admitted to reading the reports.
