Anthony Joshua is looking to seal a deal to take on Joseph Parker later this year

With Fury set to return to action for the first time since ending Wladimir Klitschko's heavyweight dominance in November 2015, many are billing the prospective meeting with current WBA Super and IBF world champion Joshua as a simple match-up of boxer vs. puncher.

A deal is almost wrapped up for the two heavyweights to collide on March 31 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.

Talks have been quite amicable, meaning Parker was happy enough to make the long trip to the United Kingdom to take part in a press conference to confirm the fight early next week.

Considering that the Rams were averaging close to 30 points per game during the regular season , this is a pretty impressive feat. The Titans upset last weekend made a few believers (or wishful thinkers) that they could do the same traveling to Foxboro.

Duco are sending a small team, alongside Parker, to follow promoter David Higgins - who flew to London earlier this week to meet face-to-face with Joshua's handler Eddie Hearn. He's got height, weight, can punch and can box a bit.

"All I'm focused on is being in great shape, training hard and doing my best to knock him out and catch his glass jaw", Parker said.

"We need these belts, there is no secret, and they know that as well", he said.

But against the Chiefs , he more than made amends, going for 156 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries. "(This season) has flown by. But that's good for you, because I'm going to fire a lot of stuff out of here tonight, and you should be able to read it faster.

"If we get the deal fully done then I'll send him on a plane straight away", he added. "He won't be able to recover against me".

Higgins also unsurprisingly backed his fighter, saying that he has the desire to take victory against the heavily favoured Joshua.

"The truth is that all the fights he has had from the beginning [of his career] have been in his favour, and he's had everything his way".

Arizona GOP Rep. Martha McSally announces Senate bid
After Sinema's entry into the race, several national analysts rated the normally solid Republican seat a "toss up" in 2018. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) came across as a fierce and unhesitant supporter of President Donald Trump, the Hill reported.

"AJ wants all the belts and Parker is the ideal fight, the flawless time", said Hearn.
