OnePlus has today introduced the OnePlus 5T Lava Red edition in India. "We are happy to kickstart 2018 with the much requested OnePlus 5T Lava Red edition, our first ever red smartphone, that will certainly appeal to those looking for the ideal balance of attractive design and powerful features", Vikas Agarwal, General Manager, OnePlus India, said in a statement. Building on that momentum, OnePlus this week brought OnePlus 5T Lava Red edition to India. The Lava Red edition is now available only in 8GB variant.
Techook had reported last week that the device was expected to debut in India before 23rd January as opposed to the rumoured date (26th Jan) that was floating around, which is pretty close to January 20 when it officially goes on sale in the country. Not that the original OnePlus 5T has been around for a very long time, but, the company's strategy to launch a new colour variant - although it offers more options - out of the blue does tend to confuse buyers somewhat. The company has used a mixture of double blasting, 2 anodic oxidation processors, and AF coating to achieve the phone's shiny red coat. It is available with 8GB of RAM & 128GB of internal storage.

With the arrival of the OnePlus 5T Lava Red, the device is now available in Midnight Black and Star Wars Limited Edition. It packs a 6.01-inch full-HD+ (1080×1920 pixels) Full Optic AMOLED display panel tagged with an 18:9 aspect ratio, 401ppi pixel density, and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
