Dublin hotel bans social media influencers over endorsement drama

An Irish hotel has banned "social-media influencers" after a 22-year-old YouTube personality asked the hotel for free five-night stay in return for promoting the business on her social media accounts.

However, Mr Stenson responded: "Thank you for your email looking for free accommodation in return for exposure. It takes a lot of balls to send an email like that, if not much self-respect and dignity", White Moose owner Paul Stenson said.

"I would love to feature you in my Youtube videos/dedicated Instagram stories/posts to bring traffic to your hotel and recommend others to book up in return for free accommodation". I don't think it's easy to remember that when you send a tweet it is going to someone's profile who is a human with real emotions.

Darby posted a video to YouTube saying that when she saw the email she "literally saw [her] heart sink to the bottom of [her] stomach". Now he can't stay at the suicide forest in Japan anymore.

And now the whole saga has taken another turn, after The White Moose Cafe joked about sending the blogger an invoice. for more than €5 million.

Black Widow Movie Could Make Johansson Highest-Paid Actress
It also features Johansson as she dons her throwback S.H.I.E.L.D. uniform, as well as a logo with a bullet hole. Black Widow will be appearing in Avengers: Infinity War later this year, on May 4.

Elle Darby, who's got 90,000 subscribers on the site, offered to make a video about her stay if she didn't have to pay.

Nevertheless, White Moose Cafe owner Paul Stenson was outraged by the proposition, and shared Darby's note on the company's Facebook page (see below).

Presumably to encourage the decisionmaker, Darby concluded her message by mentioning that a similar collaboration with a Florida hotel was "amazing for them!".

Elle Darby has almost 90,000 subscribers on Youtube and more than 79,000 Instagram followers.

But some social media users were quickly able to pick up her social media handles from the screenshot and Darby was bombarded with negative comments.

Traders Buy Shares of Lockheed Martin (LMT) on Weakness
The stock of Lockheed Martin Corporation (NYSE:LMT) has "Hold" rating given on Wednesday, November 15 by RBC Capital Markets. It increased, as 43 investors sold LMT shares while 356 reduced holdings. 70 funds opened positions while 217 raised stakes.

"There were over about 100 comments saying disgusting things about me", Darby said.

The Charleville Lodge Hotel and The White Moose Cafe in Phibsborough have been labelled "c***s" and a "s****y hotel" for asking the so-called influencer to "pay for a room".

Stenson also seemed to state the decision to ban bloggers was a direct result of Darby's video. Who is going to pay for the light and heat you use during your stay? In a Twitter, post the hotel wrote "the sense of entitlement is just too strong in the blogging community" and closing with "if any of you attempt to enter our premises from now on, you will be ejected".

"The girl in question was never identified in my original post, but she herself went on to create a video explaining how she was "exposed" with "malicious intent" for asking for a freebie", Stenson wrote.

'This kind of victimisation is very prevalent in the blogging industry and is in keeping with the general modus operandi of waiting everything for nothing'.
