That changes today. The company has now launched a new Osmo Mobile smartphone stabilizer that costs $129.
What is special about this stabilizer is that the Ronin-S is compatible with other DJI Pro Accessories and can thereby become the center of a whole ecosystem. While more smartphones like the iPhone X and LG G6 are gaining optically stabilized lenses, this gimbal will help make your footage that much smoother.
The DJI Osmo Mobile 2 is a handheld device you strap your phone into and it ensures that video and stills are captured with as little camera shake as possible - even when in motion.
Russian Orthodox mark Christmas in midnight Masses
Its Jerusalem patriarchate commands massive wealth, largely in land portfolios in Israel, the occupied West Bank and Jordan. Christmas celebrations erupted in the Armenian Orthodox Church on Ramses Street in Cairo on Saturday morning.
The new model uses an internal battery rather than a swappable one.
In addition to the Osmo Mobile 2, DJI has also announced its first single-handed stabilizer for bigger cameras. That's a significant improvement compared to the replaceable batteries that offered 3-4.5 hours of battery life. There's a physical USB connection, so your phone is powered by the grip and there's no Wi-Fi pairing necessary.
Oregon State Beavers Cruise Past the Ducks to Victory, 76-64
The Beavers need to continue to build depth with players like Manuel, a sophomore guard, and freshman forward Alfred Hollins. OR senior forward Roman Sorkin is considered questionable with a leg injury, which occurred against Utah last Friday.
The Osmo Mobile 2 retains the three-axis gimbal setup that made the original popular as one of the most stable gimbals available, but is made of "high-strength modified nylon" instead of metal like the original - and it also makes it lighter. Photographers can expand their creativity with options such as Panorama, Long Exposure and LightTrail modes. The app also supports live-streaming to YouTube and Facebook. Pre-orders open up on January 23, and it will start to ship in February.
Smartphone cameras are so good now that they can easily be used to capture some great video. "Osmo Mobile 2 offers the best in smartphone stabilization at an affordable price, and Ronin-S brings the quality of DJI's professional gimbal technology to a new form factor that is ideal for run-and-gun filming using your favorite DSLR or mirrorless camera system". A new zoom slider lets you completely operate your smartphone camera from the handle and you can even produce dolly zoom, a visual effect usually created only on professional film sets. As with the Osmo Mobile 2 there's a three-axis gimbal which promises to smooth out shake and judder in both photos and videos. It has a Push mode that lets you move the camera by hand, but also has a joystick to adjust it with the gimbal motors. It adds CamAnchor, which sets up multiple shots and lets you toggle between them when shooting a scene. It also comes with a new button layout that should make it easier for you to control and aim your phone while shooting.
SpaceX to launch 'world's most powerful rocket' with Tesla on board
The success of Falcon Heavy is a key stepping stone in Musk's master plan to eventually colonize Mars. The company also is planning to launch its Falcon Heavy rocket soon.
The DJI Ronin-S release date will be available in the next few months through DJI's online store as well as it retail partners (i.e. Amazon and the Apple Store).
