While Destiny 2 players could only receive high-end Ghosts, Sparrows, and ships randomly through Eververse's Bright Engrams, earned by leveling up or buying with real-world money, Bungie wrote in the post that the platform "was never meant to be a substitute for end game content and rewards".
A full road map followed, starting with an update on January 30 to include Masterwork Armor. Moreover, many felt like Bungie was encouraging players to spend money on Eververse if they wanted to collect all of the enticing Dawning armor and items.
The first thing that they're changing is in the balance of new content.
A Little Girl's Murder Has Sparked Protests in Pakistan and Online
The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the child named as Zainab was kidnapped on January 4. A spokesman for the Punjab provincial police said paramilitary troops had been called in to restore order.
Bungie announced the upcoming Crimson Days event starting on February 13 would contain some of these changes. Bungie pledges to "provide a gameplay path to earn Bright Engrams and all contained rewards", while also giving players "more direct purchase options."Barrett mentions some of these changes will begin with the Crimson Days event, which launches on February 13".
Sounds good, especially with a promise to make Destiny 2 more rewarding to play over the long run instead of simply just sticking to heroic triggers in public events to earn loot. "Masterwork Armor provides increased damage reduction while using your Super", explains Barrett. Masterwork Armor can be upgraded with Masterwork Cores and Legendary Shards.
Bungie also announced that all seasonal and limited-time events - such as Iron Banner and Faction Rally - will be available to all players regardless of the expansions they've purchased.
U.S. hopes Pakistan would 'turn over' terrorists, do the 'right thing'
Maj-Gen Asif said Pakistan had restored peace on its soil and now Afghanistan will also have to do so. He said terrorists were eliminated from Pakistan through Operation Zarb-e-Azb.
Bungie did not go into much detail about the Fall update, only providing improvements on weapons, clan rewards, Trials of the Nine, and the future of Guided Games. Additionally, the Raid vendor will now sell Leviathan and Eater of Worlds armor and weapons. We intend to return to creating more Raid and other activity-unique rewards in the future.
We are also adding a new Ghost with Raid-specific perks that has a chance to drop from the Leviathan and Eater of Worlds final encounters. The scoring is similar to the Destiny 1 system but with adjustments to emphasize competitive execution of Strike objectives and support for player selectable score modifiers.
Strike Scoring is coming to Nightfall and replacing the current time limit mechanic. This will favor activity rewards over Bright Engrams. February will see Nightfall High Scores revealed in-game through new emblems, and will also unlock reward. The mod system will be reworked to "reducing redundant mods, more unique theming, and greatly increasing their impact on your power", though Bungie noted parts or all could be pushed to early Spring due to scope.
