Several witnesses told police they had heard an argument between the suspect and another passenger and the suspect made threats to kill "everyone on the bus" and reportedly made a motion to his waistband that he was removing a gun, police say. The caller stated a man on the bus was threatening to shoot people.

33-year-old Margarito Vargas-Rosas was arrested and could be charged with Making Terroristic Threats, a felony, and disorderly conduct. Police pursued the bus, which crossed over from Wisconsin into IL.

There were 37 people on the bus.

About 40 passengers were driven to Chicago's Union Station on another bus. IL police said Saturday that if any charges were to be filed, the Racine County Sheriff's Department in Wisconsin would handle them. The sheriff said the suspect is in the USA illegally and has previously been deported.
