A new round of altering plans to keep up with the competition began after Reliance Jio announced two new plans in its pool of monthly recharges. The telecom company is also giving 1GB 4G/3G data per day. The Jio customers can get 2GB 4G data per dayalong with free and unlimited local, STD and roaming calls. Validity for the new plans is 28 days each.
This is however not the first time that any operator is offering such a plan.
Rs. 52 Jio Data Plan: Unlimited voice call (local, STD & Roaming), 1.05 GB high-speed data, 70 SMS (local, STD & roaming) with validity of 7 days.

Vodafone also offers a data roll-over feature, of up to 200GB, which will allow you to carry forward the unused data. This is what Airtel and Idea Cellular are also offering.
While Airtel's Rs 199 plan offers 1GB data per day, instead of the earlier 1GB data for the entire validity period. The plan also gives free and unlimited SMS benefits, said Jio website.

Under Vodafone's RED Traveller plans, users will have three options - Rs 499, Rs 699 and Rs 999. The Rs 199 plan gives users 1.2GB 4G data per day while the Rs 299 plan will offer 2GB data per day.
